Dear Christ's Church family and friends, This Sunday I am sharing a message the Holy Spirit has stirred my heart with that I have titled "The Power of Passionate Prayer."   I hope you can be there! Sunday afternoon we will be meeting for our GO! Galveston Outreach.  The depart time will be announced Sunday morning! Come and be a part of "Being the Church!" Remember that with the afternoon outreach, there will not be an evening service this Sunday. This Tuesday evening we will be meeting for INFLUENCE PRAYER at 7:00 p.m.  Last week's meeting was powerful and I want to encourage you to come out and be a part of this important time of prayer. Tuesday April 24th is our monthly 24 hours of Compassion.  Remember to spend that time praying and fasting for the lost and broken.   And remember your donation toward the GO! Galveston Outreach. Hello Christ's Church family and friends, I am so excited about our Missions Speakers for our Spring Missions Emphasis.   On Sunday morning in our 10:00 a.m. service we will be hearing from the new Directors of Home of Hope, Rodney and Ronda Daniels.  We had the privilege of sharing a breakfast with them at District Council and I will tell you that after our time together, I felt in my spirit that Home of Hope now has the leadership that is needed to get this project off the ground and flying.  They have an exciting report of how God is moving and we are right on the edge of seeing this ministry finally moving forward.    I know what they have to share with us will be a blessing and encouragement to you. On Sunday evening at 6:00 p.m. we will be meeting for our Taste the Foods of the Nations banquet.   During that time we will be hearing from a very special couple that I know you are going to love, Missionaries Matt and Stacey Leighty.  They are missionaries to a very important people group that is dear to my heart.  Matt and Stacey are Chaplains to our men and…

Hello Christ's Church family and friends, Just a quick reminder that we will be gathering together this Friday at 7:00 p.m. for GOOD FRIDAY Service.   I have a very different and special message that the Holy Spirit has placed on my heart that I know will speak to you.   Come join us as we draw "Near the Cross."    We will also be sharing Communion at the close of this service. On Easter Sunday, join us at 10:00 a.m. for a time of worship, celebrating our RISEN LORD!   We will be celebrating through Worship, Praise, Dance and a Special Resurrection message from John chapter 3.
