Dear Christ's Church family, As you may know, Governor Abbot has released an executive order to reopen the state on May 1st, and in that plan, he has stated that churches may open up their facilities again this Sunday. With this order, there were also several guidelines that churches were directed to follow. These guidelines would require you to come straight into the building, no stopping to talk, no greeting each other with hugs, handshakes, or elbow bumps. Then you would have to sit in family units with 2 chair spaces and one row between each family. After service, we have been asked to dismiss everyone, family by family, and everyone is asked to leave the facility immediately one family at a time without stopping to socialize. Additionally, we have been directed to not provide Children's Ministries as most children don’t understand distancing, nor should they be told they cannot play with their peers. So Children's Church and Little Lambs Nursery would not be available. It has also been suggested that we have only a message with no worship to avoid any exposure via singing and worship.
