Newsletter and Blessing 3-6-16

Hello Christ’s Church Family and Friends, This Sunday as we gather for worship at 10:00 a.m. we will be hearing from Alisa Ward from Sole Mission.  Remember to come ready to give a special missions offering and bring a few pairs of new shoes with you to bless their ministry! Sunday afternoon our Royal Rangers and MPact Girls will be meeting at 4:30 p.m.   And remember we are now offering a RAINBOWS Club for children ages 3 – pre K 5 year olds!   Come out and join the fun! Sunday evening at 6:30 p.m. we will be meeting for our Taste the Foods of the Nations Missions Banquet.  Our speaker for the evening is Pastor Don Holbrook who will be heading to the Philippines.  If you have not already picked up a recipe for the dinner, you can pick one up in the foyer.  Remember to bring the recipe with you so that those with food allergies can know what is in the dish you have made. Newsletter and Blessing 2-28-16

Hello Christ’s Church Family and Friends, This Sunday as we gather for worship at 10:00 a.m. we are going to be participating in the Group Sermon that we have been preparing for.  Come ready to hear the reports from several from our fellowship on “What is the Joy of Jesus?” Sunday afternoon we will be gathering at the church at 1:30 p.m. for our monthly GO! Galveston Outreach.  See Pastor Dawn for a ministry assignment after the morning service. The Tuesday Ladies Bible Study group will be meeting at 10:00 a.m. as they start a BRAND NEW Study by Priscilla Shirer titled “The Armor of God”.  Advanced reservation is required for childcare -- sign up on line or see Jennifer Plumley in the Nursery so we can have adequate staffing available for your child(ren). Tuesday evening join us for Corporate Prayer beginning at 7:00 p.m.   Come join with us as we pray for our Missionaries and other needs facing our Nation and our Community. Wednesday night our Small Group Bible Studies have been amazing!   There is an electricity in the air as people are learning and fellowshipping together!  Classes are available for all ages including several Adult Classes.  Come out and…

Newsletter and Blessing 2-21-16

Hello Christ’s Church Family and Friends, This Sunday as we gather for worship at 10:00 a.m. I am going to be sharing a very important message I have titled “Yes it is…”   Come hear a fresh Word from the Lord. Sunday afternoon our Royal Rangers and MPact Girls will be meeting at 4:30 p.m.   And remember we are now offering a RAINBOWS Club for children ages 3 – pre K 5 year olds!   Come out and join the fun! Sunday evening, February 21st is our Celebration of Ministries and Annual Business Meeting.  The meeting starts at 6:30 p.m.   God has done so much this past year and I look forward to celebrating with you all God has done!  We will be electing a Treasurer and a Council Member at this meeting so please plan on attending.   The letter listing the nominees is available at the Welcome Center.
