CCNEWS 11-7-10

Today as I look toward our Sunday morning time of Worship, my heart is filled with such great expectation.   I am so ready to meet with God, to behold His beauty, to worship before His throne alongside the rest of the body of Christ.  My heart and soul long for His courts, and I am hungry for just a glimpse of Him.  That I might behold Him in His sanctuary and kneel before His greatness!! This Sunday, November 7th is Daylight Savings!   So remember to Fall Back!   This is also the Sunday where we make our change to Launch Pad Prayer at 9:00 a.m. and one combined Worship Service at 10:00 a.m. Please remember this change. To give you a better idea what to expect, the 9:00 a.m. Launch Pad Prayer will be an individual time of prayer where we can gather in the Worship Center and get our hearts lined up and our minds prepared for the 10:00 a.m. Service.  It is a time of personal preparation and reflection.  It is a time where we get ready to be with the King.  So come and join us.   The Higher Grounds Coffee bar will be open at 8:45 a.m. so…

CCNEWS 10-31-10

What an exciting week it has been for us at Christ’s Church.  We had a powerful Prayer for the Nations this past Tuesday and we are continuing to hear praise reports of how God has brought healing and encouragement to so many through last week’s Sunday morning services.  We have heard one testimony of a healing from back pain and another testimony where God healed a knee problem that someone was dealing with for several years!   Praise God for His wonderful work and power.  He is our healer and He is worthy of all praise, glory and honor. This Sunday I am going to be sharing a message in the morning services that the Lord has placed on my heart that I have titled “The Lord of the Harvest.”   It is a word that I believe is timely as we reach out on Sunday afternoon for our Fall Harvest Festival.   We will be setting up all afternoon, but we ask that all of those who have volunteered to please be at the church by 3:00 p.m. so we can get things ready for our 4:00 p.m. start.  The outreach will last until 6 p.m. We have been so blessed at…

CCNEWS 10-24-10

This Sunday I am teaching Part 2 of Tools in Our Tool Belt. We will continue to look at the gifts and I know this teaching will encourage you to get out and use those tools God has given you! Also this Sunday is Connection Sunday so remember there is no evening service. We want to encourage you to spend some time with friends, spend time with someone new, or invite a neighbor over and get to know them. On Tuesday, October 26th at 7:00 p.m. we will be meeting for Prayer for the Nations! Come out and join us as we pray! Remember that we are collecting wrapped candy for our outreach on October 31st. You can bring your donations to the welcome center. We look forward to the opportunity to love on the children and families in our community! And if you have not signed up yet to help with the outreach, we have plenty of areas where we still need volunteers.
