Good morning precious Christ's Church Family and Friends, This morning I am going to be sharing a message I have titled "They're Still Wisemen" as we celebrate the 4th Sunday of Advent. Also remember that we will be caroling in the area around the church on Sunday night at 6:00 p.m. Here is today's Christmas Devotional: Today's Bible reading is: Mark 11:1-10; Zechariah 9:9; Matt. 21:10-16; John 2:17; Luke 21:1-11, 25-28, 34-36 Let me continue on with my thought from yesterday regarding Mary that first Christmas. Mary, a simple teenager, gave birth to the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords, the Creator of all, there in the stable with sheep and straw and the smell of animals. That first moment of a simple kiss on the forehead of a new born baby is a precious moment. Mary must have been so filled with emotion. Joy at the birth I am sure covered the exhaustion of the process. The normal parent concern for a healthy baby brings peace at seeing the child whole. Seeing the promise given by angels fulfilled must have filled her with wonder and probably more questions. After all...every parent feels uncertainty and concern at being a…

Good morning precious Christ's Church Family and Friends, Just a reminder that we meet at 7:00 p.m. for Small Group Bible Studies. I hope to see you there! Today's Bible reading is: Luke 15:1-7, 11-32; Ezekiel 34:11-12 Colossians 2:9 says "In Him dwells all of the fullness of the Godhead bodily." On that first Christmas night in Bethlehem "God was manifested in the flesh" (1 Tim 3:16) This manifestation was in the person of Jesus Christ. What an incredible truth! Think of it: The God of the universe came down from Heaven that first Christmas night and took on human form! As the words of the Christmas Carol declare, "Veiled in flesh the Godhead see, hail the incarnate deity!" As I have reflected on that I was thinking that the for us, if we want to know what God is like, then just need take a long look at Jesus Christ – because He was God in human flesh. In Him were displayed not only the perfections that had been exhibited in the creation – such as wisdom, power and majesty but also the perfections of God's justice, mercy, grace and love (and so much more)! John 1:15 tells us…

Good morning precious Christ's Church Family and Friends, Tonight we will be meeting at 7:00 p.m. for Prayer For All Nations. Come and join us!! Today's Bible reading is: Matt. 16:21-22; Isaiah 53:10; Luke 9:23-26; Mark 9:2-4, 7-10; Matt. 22:34-40; Isaiah 11:2-4; Luke 10:29-37 Lamentations 3:23-24 says "Great is your faithfulness! Yahweh is my portion. I tell myself therefore I will hope!" The great phrase here is "Yahweh is my portion." You see it in Numbers 18:20 and in Deut 10:9 The ancient phrase has been handed down through generations and held onto tenaciously through the worst of troubles. The people knew there was a communion with a merciful God that could not be lost because it could not be touched by the dislocations of external circumstances. And here is the key that is in my heart this morning for you: The chaos and darkness of suffering becomes the dawn of the light of the day when we live knowing that God's mercy is not at an end nor is His mercy exhausted. It is new every morning. If you are broken, withdrawing and held down by life, stand with me this morning and declare this: God you are my…
